Announcing Promotion of VP of Sales & Revenue Strategies

This is why Buffalo Lodging Associates LLC, is proud to announce Yuka Dear has been promoted to Vice President of Sales and Revenue Strategies. In this role, Yuka will play a critical role in shaping sales initiatives, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of industry trends. She brings a remarkable track record, passion for excellence, and collaborative approach which makes her an asset to our leadership team. Her keen insights, data-driven decision-making, and focus will help us optimize our sales processes and maximize profitability.

A hospitality professional with more than 20 years’ experience, Yuka joined Buffalo Lodging in 2013 as the Regional Director of Revenue Management. Prior to Buffalo Lodging, Yuka spent four years in Providence, RI market as a full-Service Hilton and Marriott Director of Revenue Management and Task Force Director of Revenue Management for several other markets. In this role, Yuka developed strategies to maximize hotel revenue, sales penetration and RevPar growth. She also analyzed market trends to assist in forecasting and budgeting processes. Her previous experience includes Revenue Management positions in the Boston, Massachusetts market, as well as a Sales Reporting Systems Analyst for a pre-opening hotel.

Yuka is a graduate from Boston University, where she earned her master’s degree in Multinational Commerce. She currently resides in Massachusetts, with her husband, daughter, and son. When she is not working, you can most likely find her on the field watching her kids play lacrosse. She enjoys being outdoors, hiking, and going to the beach in the summer months.
