Buffalo Lodging Associates, in partnership with Benderson Development, LLC, is proud to advance internal talent and announce the promotion of Eric Mayer, as Director of Construction and Renovation. In this role, Mayer will continue to oversee all aspects of construction and renovation projects specifically to hotels. He will continue to be responsible for strategic thinking, meticulous planning, and his commendable eye for detail will help enhance and expand the hotel portfolio. Mayer will oversee the new positions that are being recruited for: Renovation Project Manager and Architectural & Design Manager.

Mayer’s 11-year tenure with Benderson Development, began as a Superintendent and moved up to Project Manager, where he spearheaded several high-profile projects. While managing Benderson Development construction projects, he also oversaw the hotel new builds for Residence Inn Buffalo Downtown, Home2 Suites Orlando near Universal, Home2 Suites Orlando UCF and TownePlace Suites Latham.  His expertise in managing complex timelines, budgets, and contractor relationships play a vital role in the successful execution of our upcoming ventures and growth of Buffalo Lodging.

Mayer resides in Buffalo, New York, with his wife, and two boys. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing and traveling.
