We appreciate our housekeepers!
Housekeepers are the heart of the industry, and a vital piece of the success of our company. We value their effort on a regular basis, but every September we take the time to celebrate them a little extra during International Housekeeping Appreciation Week. Each property had the creative freedom to celebrate in style, and that they did.
Indulging in delicious food is like a love language, and a big part of the week’s celebrations involved donuts for breakfast, ice cream socials, taco Tuesdays and so much more. A few properties, including Comfort Suites Orlando near Universal and Homewood Suites Sarasota, utilized the housekeeping carts and hosted fun decorating contests, even parading the final products around the hotel for show. The friendly competition didn’t end there – Home2 Suites Universal went bowling and SpringHill Suites Solon created their own mini boats, using their indoor pool for the big race.
